Achimgaz is a 50:50 JV between Gazprom dobycha Urengoi (a Gazprom's wholly-owned subsidiary) and Wintershall, which is developing the Achimov I block. This is part of the super-giant Urengoiskoye gas-condensate field, which has been producing dry gas for over 35 years from the massive Cenomanian horizon (depth between 1,100 and 1,700 metres).
