US shale gas producers - corporate themes
Report summary
The US gas corporate landscape has seen tremendous upheaval over the last two years. US$38 billion has been spent on US gas-focused companies and assets since the start of 2016, including US$18 billion in year-to-date 2017. Large, public gas specialists – such as EQT and Range– have chased economies of scale, synergies and access to improved pricing, through material corporate takeovers. At the same time, diversified large-caps that were once major gas producers are racing toward the exits.
