Parsley Energy repeats its growth formula with an equity-funded $2.8 billion acquisition of Double Eagle's Midland Basin assets. Parsley has been on a Permian tear.  Just how big has the company become?  FERC's approval of four northeast gas pipeline projects has positive implications for northeast supply growth, but possibly to the detriment of Henry Hub post-2018.  Matador and SM Energy both raise the bar for well results on acreage they acquired through M&A, highlighting some unique areas for even more future Permian investment.
