As short term organic growth remains challenging in the northeast EQT further consolidates its southern Marcellus position with the purchase of Stone Energy's West Virginia assets. Western Gas Partners Anadarko's midstream MLP follows its parent company's shift to the Permian through an asset interest swap with Williams.
