Report summary
Valhall is a large oil field located in the southern North Sea, close to the Norwegian/Danish border. The field has undergone several phases of development since production started in 1982. There is still material resource upside. Facilities have been powered from shore since 2009. Oil from the field is transported via the Ekofisk facilities through Norpipe Oil pipeline to Teesside in the UK. Gas is transported directly to the Norpipe Gas pipeline and onwards to Emden in Germany.
