Vicksburg A (MC 393) is a medium-sized oil and gas discovery located between the border of the Mississippi Canyon and DeSoto Canyon protraction areas in the Central Gulf of Mexico. Vicksburg A is a separate oil and gas accumulation than the Vicksburg B discovery (please see Other Discoveries Central) made in October 2007.
