With so much future uncertainly for planning teams, portfolio construction is a topic that deserves more attention in 2022 than ever. Some US E&Ps are doubling or tripling down in a single basin. Others are favoring one commodity over another. And some have very broad upstream asset holdings that offer future optionality, but not without cost. Last month, we sat down with Chevron, Pioneer, and Chesapeake at our Americas Energy Summit to discuss portfolio design. Some incredible insights came out of the panel conversation.
