Vito (MC 984)
Report summary
Vito (MC 984) is a subsalt Miocene discovery in the southern Mississippi Canyon protraction area. The field was originally discovered by Anadarko in July 2009 and Shell took over operatorship afterwards. Shell sanctioned the project in April 2018 and the field has been developed using a FPU. First oil was achieved in February 2023.
