Report summary

The Weizhou fields represent a significant source of oil production for operator CNOOC Ltd from the Western South China Sea. Early development started in early 1980s as Weizhou 10 3/10 3N were brought on stream. This was followed by the startup of Weizhou 11 4 and Weizhou 12 1 in 1993 and 1999 respectively.
