West Delta Deep Marine
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
The West Delta Deep Marine (WDDM) block is located in the Mediterranean around 110 kilometres northeast of Alexandria. Between 1998 and 2002 BG made a total of nine gas discoveries and proved enough gas reserves for a substantial domestic market contract and two LNG trains. In August 1999, development approval was granted for the first two discoveries; the Saffron and Scarab gas fields. The two fields were developed via subsea completion and tied back to onshore processing facilities.
