West Mediterranean Deepwater
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
The West Mediterranean Deepwater concession is located in deepwater, in the west Nile Delta. The concession includes four gas discoveries, which are all at an early stage of appraisal. The most significant is the Hodoa discovery of 2010, as it was the first Oligocene gas discovery in the deepwater West Nile Delta. Other than the four discoveries, it is understood the Raven field also extends from BP's North Alexandria concession into the area. Development plans have yet to be finalised for the fields, though the Raven field is being developed as part of the West Nile Delta project.
