Western Australia extends North West Shelf DMO
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Australia's largest gas development, the North West Shelf Project (NWSP), has agreed a deal with the Western Australian (WA) government to extend an obligation to supply gas into the domestic market from 2017. However the supply will be at significantly reduced levels and potentially last only five years. This agreement shows the WA government's continued commitment to LNG developments fulfilling a domestic market obligation.
