Report summary

Wisting is the most northerly field in Norway. It lies in the Barents Sea 170 kilometres northeast of the Johan Castberg field in the Hoop fault complex. The field water depth there is approximately 400 metres, and the reservoir lies at a very shallow depth of around 900 metres below the seabed.The discovery was part of an exploration program between 2013 and 2014, which targeted three prospects in the area.
