On 22 November 2021, Woodside sanctioned theUS$12 billion Scarborough and Pluto Train 2 project. Scarborough is the last remaining large undeveloped discovered resource outside of Browse, and Pluto Train 2 will be the first new LNG infrastructure in Australia since the last LNG wave.
