Report summary

The Xijiang Area is located in the Pearl River Mouth Basin and comprises of five relative mature oil fields, Xijiang 24-3, Xijiang 24-1, Xijiang 30-2, Xijiang 23-1 and Huizhou 25-8. The five fields are within four blocks, 15/11 D, XJ 04, 15/22 D and Huizhou 25-8. With Xijiang 24-3 first brought onstream in 1994, oil reserves have been upgraded regularly by successful discoveries afterwards including the recent Huizhou 25-8.
