The giant Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye (Y-T) field lies in the Evenkii region of Krasnoyarsk Krai in East Siberia. It is the largest field in East Siberia with geological ABC1+C2 reserves of 12 billion barrels of oil. The field is operated by Rosneft subsidiary Vostochno-Sibirskaya Neftegaz Kompany (often referred to as Vostsibneftegaz or VSNK).Logistical and technical difficulties have delayed development since discovery.
