Zapolyarnoye is a super-giant oil, gas and condensate field that lies in the prolific Nadym-Pur-Taz region of Russia. Zapolyarnoye became Russia's largest gas producing field in 2013, overtaking the traditional 'Big Three' gas fields in West Siberia.The field came onstream in 2001, with initial development targeting the Cenomanian horizon.
