PV is the Pillar of US Decarbonization

The first quarter of 2021 marked the most significant Q1 for the US-installed solar capacity on record. Solar installations will continue on this exceptional growth trajectory, in part fueled by the expectation of unprecedented Federal policy support. With PV accounting for way over half of the new electricity-generating capacity quarter on quarter in the US, the American solar industry is experiencing unparalleled momentum.

The ripple effects of COVID-19, combined with the increased demand for solar, have led to increased solar component prices and delivery delays, reversing a decades-old trend of module cost declines. So how will these market and regulatory dynamics impact the rate at which solar will grow in upcoming years? And what lessons have developers, installers, utilities, component manufacturers and EPCs learned from building projects in this new world?

Solar Series will gather leading voices in American solar to understand what lies ahead for the industry as PV is a fundamental piece in the US decarbonization strategy.
