
Ian brings 15 years of energy industry experience to his role as Research Director, Middle East Upstream.
Since joining Wood Mackenzie in 2005, Ian has been involved in analysing the oil and gas industries of the Middle East, UK, Russia and Caspian regions. He is currently responsible for Wood Mackenzie's Iraq and Saudi Arabia upstream analysis.
Ian regularly authors global upstream reports, exploring topics including global upstream capex, discovered resource opportunities, major capital projects, deepwater and the Majors' production outlook and cost curve.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Ian was a research fellow at the University of St Andrews.
