
Kai is a principal consultant in Wood Mackenzie's Asia Pacific gas and LNG market team. He mainly covers China's gas market research, including fundamentals, policy and infrastructure. He leads the China regional gas model development and regional market research. In addition, he also focuses on the gas supply research for Southeast Asian countries.
Kai joined Wood Mackenzie in 2022. He previously spent six years as a senior production engineer with China National Petroleum Corporation, where his responsibilities included unconventional gas development and engineering management. He specialises in well stimulation technologies in all kinds of reservoirs.
