Mihir has spent 13 years in research and consulting roles in the metals and mining (M&M) sector.
Currently, he leads new product development in metals and mining for our flagship data analytics platform, Lens. Mihir also heads the M&M emissions benchmarking tool (EBT) covering asset level GHG emission outlook, carbon pricing & asset risk assessment.
Mihir drives scoping, delivery roadmap, product features, functionality and enhancements for all M&M verticals in Lens including base metals, battery raw materials and bulk commodities.
Mihir joined Wood Mackenzie in 2021 and spent time on assessing the impact of energy transition on bulk commodities such as developing net-zero scenario outlooks, investment forecasts and carbon abatement curves to achieve climate goals.
Prior to this role, Mihir worked as manager (bulk commodities) with CRISIL Ltd (a S&P Global company) for five years. Before that, he covered the global steel and iron ore space for five years as a senior commodity analyst in a boutique consulting firm.
