Murray is responsible for Wood Mackenzie’s global hydrogen and ammonia research. Underpinned by a growing team of experts and the full breadth of energy verticals, the team’s analysis extends across the full hydrogen and derivatives value chain, covering market development, policy, costs and project valuation.
Murray brings more than 18 years of experience working in a variety of roles across the energy industry. Prior to his current role, Murray led gas and LNG for the EMEA region at Wood Mackenzie. In this role, he was regularly sought out to speak at industry-leading events for his expertise in European gas markets. Murray has also held positions leading Wood Mackenzie’s global supply and modelling research team, and the energy markets research team. Prior to joining the Energy Markets team, Murray spent over five years covering the LNG industry where he relocated to Houston to establish LNG practice in North America.
