Roshna joined Wood Mackenzie as a research analyst in November 2022, specialising in the development of integrated energy and emission models for Asia Pacific and African markets. She also conducts research on disruptive low-carbon technologies.
With seven years of experience in energy, policy, regulation, climate change mitigation, GHG emission inventories and techno-economic analysis, Roshna has expertise in various areas including the preparation of state-level climate action plans and long-term low-carbon scenario development.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Roshna worked at the Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy, a policy think-tank. During her time there, she worked on projects related to energy sector GHG emission inventories, air pollution emission inventories, and decarbonisation studies of the petrochemical industry. She has also provided support to Indian states in preparing their mitigation action plans as part of the state action plan on climate change.
Moreover, she has contributed to the development of technology and policy roadmaps aimed at meeting India's Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) goals.
