Ying joined Wood Mackenzie as a principal consultant in 2021. With a background in metal and metallurgy engineering and rich experience in zinc and lead markets, she specialises in zinc research, with a particular focus on the Chinese market and smelter costing analysis.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Ying spent six years with CRU Consulting, where she contributed to a number of major studies and consulting projects in the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on non-ferrous industries. Earlier in her career she delivered market analysis for the Beijing General Research Institute of Mining & Metallurgy (BGRIMM).
