Commodity Market Report
Global ethylene long-term outlook H1 2015
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Although 2015 experienced tight ethylene markets and relatively high margins, a new capacity wave is imminent that is associated with advantaged ethane/LPG feedstocks (in North America and Middle East) and from coal-based units (in China) and will start to add enough supplies to the global ethylene markets to cause a market trough in 2017-2019.
