Boggabri is located in the Gunnedah Basin of New South Wales. It is approximately 15 kilometres northeast of the town of Boggabri and adjoins the Tarrawonga mine lease to the south. Boggabri completed its expansion in 2015 to 7 Mtpa, which included a new coal handling and preparation plant and a 17 kilometre rail loop. The mine produces thermal coal and semi-soft coking coal / high-vol PCI for the export market.
