Caval Ridge coal mine
Report summary
Caval Ridge is a hard coking coal mine located in Queensland’s Bowen Basin. Caval Ridge’s coal resources are secured under part of ML 1775, which also covers Peak Downs and part of the BMA operated Saraji mine. BMA have also been granted an additional mining lease, ML 70403, for the location of site infrastructure and temporary landforms. Caval Ridge produced its first coal in 2014 quickly ramping up to full production.
