Cerrolargo Centro coal mine

Report summary

Cerrolargo Centro is a currently suspended truck-and-shovel operation owned by Drummond and Itochu.  We forecast the mine to reopen by the end of the decade with production to be trucked to the Pribbenow mine for blending and transport to Puerto Drummond port. Cerrolargo Centro will produce an unwashed low-sulphur, low-ash bituminous coal destined for the export thermal coal market.
