Report summary
Line Creek is a metallurgical coal mine in southeastern British Columbia, Canada that is operated by Teck Coal. It is part of the larger Elk Valley mine complex. The mine produces low- to medium- volatile bituminous coking coal that ships out of Neptune and Westshore Terminals in Vancouver and Ridley Terminals in Prince Rupert, British Columbia for export to international steel making customers. As of 2022, Line Creek mine and processing plant has a capacity of 4 Mt a year.
