CONSOL - Appalachia coal mines

Report summary

CONSOL was once one of the largest coal producers in the United States but after a series of divestments the company has only one remaining active coal asset, the Bailey-Enlow Fork-Harvey complex. This complex operates 5 longwalls and 18 continuous miner sections to produce up to 28.5 Mstpa. In 2020, production declined severely to 18.6 Mst. We expect a production rebound to 27.5 Mst in 2021. This report contains detailed information on CONSOL's coal assets including production, cash costs, reserves, capital expenditures, quality and infrastructure.
