CONSOL was once one of the largest coal producers in the United States but after a series of divestments the company has only two remaining active coal assets: the Bailey-Enlow Fork-Harvey (PAMC) complex and the Itmann mine. The PAMC operates 5 longwalls and 18 continuous miner sections to produce up to 28 Mstpa. In 2024, production has leveled out at more than 26 Mst of which 24.5 Mst is thermal Pittsburgh #8 thermal product. This report contains detailed information on CONSOL's coal assets including production, cash costs, reserves, capital expenditures, quality and infrastructure prior to the merger with Arch Resources that was announced in August 2024.
