Insani Bara Perkasa is a sub-bituminous mine located over eight largely non-adjoining coal blocks near the city of Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The Insani Bara Perkasa concession area covers a total area of 245 square kilometres. The mine operates under a third generation coal contract of work (CCoW) that was awarded in 1997 and expires in 2036.
