The Tabang mine is a low-rank coal operation located in East Kalimantan, owned and operated by Bayan Resources. The Tabang concessions are located alongside the Belayan River in Tabang, East Kalimantan. The mine is comprised of three IUP concessions: Fajar Sakti Prima (producing); Bara Tabang (commenced production in 2014), and; Brian Anjat Sentosa (exploration and appraisal). Bayan Resources's neighbouring Pakar North mine which started stripping activities during 2021, share common infrastructure with Tabang mine. Bayan Resource is expanding transport infrastructure at the Tabang project to achieve a targeted production of 60 million tonnes by 2026.
