Karya Putra Borneo (KPB) mine is IUP concession located in Kutai Kartanegara regency of East Kalimantan. The mine was a 50:40:10 venture between Mercator (through its fully owned subsidiary Oorja) United Coal and a private investor before United Coal went into bankruptcy and as of March 2016 the 40 percent stake was with curators.
