Khwezela coal mine

Report summary

Khwezela was created through the merger of Kleinkopje and Landau at the end of 2016. Khwezela forms part of of Anglo American's South African Coal Estates, which also includes Greenside. Khwezela is located 12 kilometres south west of Witbank, in the Mpumalanga Province, covering the Kromdraai 279 JS, Nooitgedacht 300 JS, Schoongezicht 308 JS, Elandsfontein 309 JS, Blaauwkrans 323 JS and Kleinkopje 15 IS farms. We have closed Kleinkopje and Landau, covered in separate asset reports.
