Report summary
Drake is part of QCoal's Northern hub operation, which also includes Sonoma, Jax and Cows concession. We analyse Sonoma/Cows and Jax in separate asset reports, due to a different ownership structure. Drake is located 17 kilometres south of Collinsville in the northern Bowen Basin, producing both thermal and metallurgical export coal. Drake utilises existing infrastructures available at the nearby Sonoma mine and operates within mine leases ML10349, ML10350 and ML 10351.
