Ravensworth North coal mine

Report summary

Ravensworth North is a large surface mine in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales 25 kilometres north west of Singleton producing thermal coal and semi-soft coking coal for export markets. The mine was formed from a consolidation of the Ravensworth West, Narama and Cumnock lease areas under a single mining consent, and the development of a single pit to extract the remaining resource.
