Report summary

The Tweefontein Surface mine is operated by Glencore and is part of a complex that includes an underground operation (covered in a separate asset report). Tweefontein Surface consists of the Waterpan, Boschmans and Witcons reserves, located in the Witbank Coalfield of the Mpumalanga Province. Tweefontein Surface covers the Waterpan 8 IS and Vlaklaagte 330 JS farms. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs.
