Wambo South coal mine

Report summary

Wambo South is an underground project in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales, located under the existing Wambo North underground mine (covered in a separate analysis). The Wambo complex is located 15 kilometres west of Singleton, near the village of Warkworth. Wambo South is expected to predominately produce thermal coal for export from the Arrowfield and Bowfield seams.
