Wolverine Fuels, formerly Bowie Resource, is Utah’s largest coal company. It owns two operating mines, SUFCO and Skyline, and two idled mines, Bowie #2 and Dugout Canyon. In 2023, these two operating mines are forecast to produce 5.9 million short tons. Wolverines Fuels coal is known for its high- BTU with low sulphur and ash content, making it ideal for the export market.
