Wolverine (Perry Creek) coal mine

Report summary

Wolverine Perry Creek is an idled metallurgical coal mine in Canada's Peace River Valley, which normally produces a high-quality mid-volatile hard coking coal for international markets.  Walter Energy announced on 15 April 2014 that the mine would be idled immediately, a direct result of persistently weak metallurgical coal markets.
