Over a year after well permitting was halted, a definite resolution has yet to be reached on development in gas-rich British Columbia (BC). While drilling activity carries on using previously granted licences, producers have vastly different cards to play based on their licence inventories. Downside to BC gas production builds as permitting backlogs swell and negotiations continue.
