Speed of demand recovery differs according to sector and type The pace of US domestic gas demand recovery from the impacts of coronavirus has been gradual and differs according to sector as well as the type within it. Industrial demand recovery has been more gradual compared to power and commercial sectors. Ethanol run rates has shown a very fast recovery in progress compared to refinery run rates Ethylene cracker, PDH and fractionator demand has reached near normal utilization Metals manufacturing demand recovery has begun but much more muted Oil and gas extraction & mining recovery has lagged and may be more tied to low commodity prices Will the pace of US gas demand recovery accelerate? We will continue to monitor, refresh and expand our prior insight as noteworthy changes occur.
