Report summary
East Africa is on the cusp of becoming a major LNG supplier. Since 2009, over 5,200 bcm of gas reserves have been discovered off the northern coast of Mozambique and the southern coast of Tanzania. Various major LNG exports schemes have been proposed, but as of July 2015, no projects have taken FID.
