Kinder Morgan (KM), with its equal share partner EagleClaw Midstream Ventures, announced a letter of intent to build the Permian Highway Pipeline (PHP) from the Permian to the growing Texas Gulf Coast markets. KM’s Gulf Coast Express (GCX) project is the only major Permian gas pipeline to have announced an Final Investment Decision, back in December 2017. Apache plays another important role after the GCX project, a firm transportation commitment with up to 0.5 bcfd and a potential equity stake up to 33%.
