Report summary

We expect 72 bcf, 61 bcf and 132 bcf of gas to be taken out of storage through January 18. During the same three weeks last year withdrawals of 206 bcf, 359 bcf and 183 bcf occurred. Fears of storage shortages this winter have all but disappeared. Higher prices in December combined with warm weather to create relatively weak demand totals during a few of the most important demand weeks of the year.
