Power demand will soon ramp up into peak cooling season. However, for now, hotter-than-normal temperatures are failing to extend southward into key gas burn regions, such as ERCOT, and are limiting power demand levels. Combined with resurging US gas production levels, modest seasonal demand will allow storage injections to climb to triple digits. The weekly commodity report seeks to explore: • How many triple-digit weekly storage injections are projected? • Where is US gas production increasing? • Has WCSB gas production recovered from wildfires?
