North America gas weekly update: Nor'easter rally
Report summary
Let it snow! Finally some cold is back in the air, and the prompt contract has rallied. Degree days are up, and we’re now expecting storage to end the season about 0.2 Tcf below the five-year average. Cold would have to continue throughout the month to start causing real concern, though. Join us on Thursday 10 am (CST), 4 February to hear Wood Mackenzie's North America gas markets H2 2020 long-term outlook forecast, which has been extended to 2050. Various topics that incorporate energy transition themes into our forecast such as deep renewable penetration, the rise of hydrogen and electrification in the residential and commercial sector, will be discussed.
