You can hear the sizzle in Texas. Not surprisingly, ERCOT power loads are off the charts and gas burns are elevated. Record gas burns that are tightening the market are rapidly dissipating fall, storage-congestion worries. A weaker winter El Nino pattern that would reduce the probability of an anomalous warm season scenario has been additive to the market's recent stronger prices. This weekly natural gas commodity report seeks to explore: • Is US gas production increasing? • Will LNG export utilization begin rebounding? • Is another salt withdrawal in store?
