Report summary
On 26 April 2017 TransCanada filed an application with Canada's National Energy Board (NEB) for its new long-term fixed price (LTFP) service from Alberta to Dawn on the mainline system. The application follow's NEB's decision on April 24 that allows TransCanada to adopt the Streamlined Regulatory Process for the LTFP service. The commencement of the LTFP service should increase flows on the TransCanada Mainline to around 3 bcfd at Empress by Nov 2017, a level last seen in Nov 2015.
