United States pipeline regulatory timeline (Q3 2018): southbound pipeline development
Report summary
This document contains the latest regulatory trends and analysis in the US gas pipeline industry. In the Downloads section of this quarterly insight, we provide a pipeline project tracker detailing the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) application status, receipt and delivery points, in-service date, capacity and other important metrics for US pipeline projects. As vast new pipeline capacity starts in the Northeast US this and the next year, the focus of the pipeline development shifts south, where we forecast the strongest demand growth. In this report, we review projects that started operation and new projects that initiated the FERC application process in Q3 2018.
